ESG AT PIXEL

For Pixel TI, sustainability is a critical factor for our success and that of our customers, suppliers, and employees.

Using natural resources responsibly, thinking about the future, taking care of the community impacted by our operation, and ensuring transparency, ethics, and the economic-financial balance of our business are the fundamental pillars of our sustainability policy.

The values that guide us in defining this policy are:

  • Do business responsibly, committing to take care today of the resources that will be needed by us and future generations;
  • Care for and commit ourselves to the growth of our stakeholders;
  • Generate a positive impact in our region of operation, becoming catalysts for good practices and sustainable ideas;
  • Keep our business economically sustainable to ensure positive results, continuous growth, and the perpetuation of our company.

Environment

We have a waste management system and properly dispose of all waste our operation generates.

We keep our environmental licensing up to date.

We have targets for reducing the consumption of water, electricity, plastic, and paper.

We are moving towards reducing the use of plastic as much as possible in our operations, given its permanence in the environment.

We collect electronic waste from our employees and send what we produce to institutions with social projects for the use of electronic waste and the correct disposal of these materials so that they do not end up in the environment, polluting soil and water.

We encourage and train our employees to collaborate with the environment in our factory and other areas of their lives.

In our operation, we are developing practical actions to reduce greenhouse gases (GHG) that cause the increase in terrestrial temperature to be carbon neutral.

Social Responsibility

We keep financial obligations with our employees up to date, and our work rules follow current legislation.

All of our employees are Consolidated Labor Laws (CLT) holders. They can subscribe to the health insurance offered by Pixel TI at a reduced cost to facilitate access to health and well-being and that of members of their family group.

We charge our suppliers to respect labor rules and condemn forced, slave, or child labor.

We do not tolerate discrimination or inequality among our employees based on race, color, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, religion, physical disability, position, or any other diversity condition.

 We encourage active listening and open dialogue, because knowing how to listen and share differences can lead us to see the world from other angles and help us to increase our repertoire and knowledge as well.

We respect the employee’s right to organize or join trade unions, class bodies, or associations without this implying persecution or any type of punishment for this conduct.

Governance

We honor commitments assumed with integrity in all negotiations, preserving the confidentiality of the information of all involved.

We guarantee transparency, equal opportunity for our partners, and the possibility of growth for all our employees.

We ensure compliance with all national and international legislation, standards, and regulatory obligations.

We are implementing a program to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We do not accept or tolerate any acts or conduct that characterize active or passive corruption, fraud, money laundering, extortion, bribes, payment, or offer of anything to any of our stakeholders.

We preventively control all forms of corruption in our relationships with customers, partners, and employees.

We respect the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code (CDC), valuing relevant actions’ quality, integrity, flexibility, credibility, and timeliness.

How we take care of the environment in our daily lives

Sustainability Committee

A sustainability committee was created in January 2022 at Pixel TI to make our company’s actions and business decisions sustainable.

The committee is responsible for studying the subject, outlining the material topics of our business, identifying opportunities, and implementing programs and actions that contribute to ESG in all its aspects.

Composed of one member from each company area, including one of our directors, the committee has sought to implement simple actions that make a difference for the environment, employees, and our daily lives.

Actions to reduce the consumption of water, electricity, plastic, and paper

Pixel TI automated its workspace and, as a result, achieved considerable reductions in electricity and water consumption.

We are also working so that our employees avoid using paper and plastic whenever possible. As a first step, we present all our employees with an ecological cup so they can use it in their daily lives and avoid using disposable cups.

In addition, we prepared an educational campaign consisting of videos that explain the chosen points of attention and information signs that alert our employees during their workday.

Solid waste management

At Pixel, we implemented the Solid Waste Management Program so that our employees separate their garbage during working hours.

But more than that, we have developed suitable partners who assist us in collecting this material to properly dispose of Bakelite (PCB waste), electronic components and their packaging, wires, and any other waste generated in our operation.

In addition, the company has a dumpster to dispose of batteries in strategic locations, which is taken to companies that collect these materials and properly dispose of them.

Our Pillars

Pixel TI believes that active governance permeated by the pillars that sustain our business is essential for the perpetuation of our brand in the market since qualified leadership, strategy, values, processes, and the generation of business are the basis for adding value to our stakeholders (customers, employees, and suppliers) and accountability to our shareholders.

Our company’s managers take care of internal and external relations, always seeking balance and suitability in everything we do.

How does AGM work?

The Monthly Management Assessment (AGM, as its acronym in Portuguese) takes place monthly, allowing each company area to demonstrate its results and discussions of the materiality of our business and strategic movements to be aligned with all areas so that changes and actions are implemented in an agile and assertive manner.

The risk management of our business is also carried out by the group that makes up the AGM and responds directly to our shareholders.
